Our story

Under one archway, a very long conversation

We met sheltering from a sudden spring rain beneath the same stone archway, both late for somewhere else. Neither of us made it to where we were going. Six years, two apartments and one very patient dog later, we're going back to the city where it started.

We would love for you to spend a slow, music-filled weekend with us — good food, a short ceremony, and a long night of dancing.

“Come as you are, stay for the second line.”

Good to know before you pack

The answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else, add a note to your RSVP and we'll reply personally.

What should I wear?

Garden formal for Saturday: suits or light jackets, dresses or jumpsuits in any colour you love. April evenings can be warm and humid, so breathable fabrics and shoes that handle grass are a good idea.

Are children welcome?

Little ones are warmly welcome at the welcome evening and brunch. Saturday's celebration is adults-only so parents can enjoy a night off.

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying close to the historic centre so everything is walkable. We'll email a short list of hotels with a guest rate once you RSVP.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. The ceremony and reception spaces are step-free with seating throughout. Let us know any access needs in your RSVP and we'll plan around them.

Do you have a registry?

Your company is truly the gift. If you would like to mark the day, a contribution toward our honeymoon fund will be shared by email with confirmed guests.

Can I take photos?

We're asking for an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be present. Phones out at the reception — we'd love to see the dance floor through your eyes.
